2013-2014 Season
Challenge: Block Party
Block Party was played on a 12'x12' diamond shaped field. There were several options this year for challenges our robot could compete for points, which included picking up blocks and placing them on a see-saw, balancing that see-saw, raising a flag, and hanging from (and then doing pull-ups) a bar. Two randomly paired robots had to work together against two others to complete as many challenges as possible during a thirty-second autonomous period and a two-minute teleop (human controlled) period.

How We Did:
We chose to compete in one regional tournaments in Lexington, and hosted a scrimmage at our school in Needham for the very first time!
At our scrimmage we scored the highest cumulative points in the competition and came in 6th place. For pictures and other information please click here.
At our regional tournament, in Lexington, we won the Connect Award and came in third place for the Inspire Award, which qualified us for the state tournament. The boy's team sadly did not qualify. For pictures and other information please click here.
